Buyer (Junior to Intermediate)

Location: Gloucester - Hybrid

Arca Resourcing is supporting a growing specialist engineering business in Gloucester operating within the UK energy and infrastructure sector to appoint a Buyer.

This opportunity is open to both junior and experienced Buyers. You do not need to come from utilities or transmission, candidates from construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other project-based environments are encouraged to apply.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will support live projects with day-to-day procurement activity, with particular emphasis on:

• Raising and managing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials and services are delivered on time
• Supporting negotiations on pricing and lead times
• Working closely with project teams to align procurement with programme requirements
• Maintaining clear and compliant procurement records

About You

• Experience in a Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Procurement role
• Strong attention to detail, particularly around purchase order control
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
